Objectives

Communitybuilders exists to support locally controlled community organisations who provide a number of different activities and services for the benefit of their local neighbourhoods.

The objectives of Communitybuilders are to:

• Make sustainable investments in community enterprises to build their long-term financial viability
• Maximise social impact by making investments in good quality organisations that aim to achieve a positive and profound change in their communities
• Act as an engaged investor and stay close to our market through proactive management of our relationships with investees and applicants
• Sustainability for the Fund with the aim of ensuring that we can continue to make new good quality investments in organisations that deliver social impact for a minimum period of 10 years and beyond

We want to continue our practice of acting as an engaged investor, maintaining a strong and supportive relationship with community organisations from the time we see a promising application, through the investment process and beyond.
